As a friend of mine mentioned a.k.a hypothesized ages ago:
Humans are narcissists, as someone is attracted to other person just because they see their own selves in that person.
*sorry bung for free-translating it here :p* aaanyways, since I read those lines, it kind of struck me in the head. It IS true indeed. When you see someone you’re not (as in 180-not), you’d really feel like hating him/her, but not necessarily pure hatred.
Jealous, perhaps. Disgust, perhaps. Pity, perhaps. You name it. Any kind of feeling will do.You know you felt this kind of feeling at least once. And most probably, for the rest of your lives.
But, like every quote in this slaving internet, there’s gotta be another quote to counter one, even though it’s simply just someone’s opinion. There’s always someone who think of the exact opposite of what we think. Hence, some people choose to dismiss them rather than listening to what those people have to say any further.
So to counter that simple-but-true quote up there, here goes:
Humans love to encounter the polar opposites of their own selves, simply because they can’t stand having to look at themselves other than in the mirror.
…ok, I’m officially suck at quotes. But this may be true for lovers, not that I understand a dew about it. I hate love. Specifically: lovebirds. Nah, that’s just me being weird at all times.
And this shitty writing log I have seems to attract a few amounts of people, even though I barely write my insanely negative thoughts anymore. Most probably the same person who look it up from time to time. Meh, it feels like gloating but I feel terrible just writing it.
Ah, it’s hard being the weird one.
